Environmental Policy Garden Grafters are committed to protecting the environment and have a comprehensive environmental policy which includes measures such as:   Where available we purchase saws with catalytic converters reducing emissions by up to 80%. In addition we use a 'no-spill vapour trap' system for refueling our equipment ensuring that there are no spillages and that vapour release is minimal.   We take extra measures to ensure low energy consumption and reduce noise. When planting we use organic materials from sustainable sources.   We recycle as much waste material as possible using arisings to produce mulch, chip, logs, beams, artistic pieces etc.   At our office we use energy saving light bulbs,recycled paper, 'treesaver' envelopes and we recycle any waste paper.     Being committed to nature and wildlife protection we aim to cause minimum disruption to their environment.   We regularly work on protected trees, trees in and around water, in conservation areas and sites of specific scientific interest; showing the greatest of sensitivity to the tree and its surroundings.
